Hello everyone! Yedikuyular is the only ski resort at the point where the South-East meets the Mediterranean — and that solitude makes it far busier than you would expect. On this page I have gathered its conditions; the figures above are live, and below I share what the figures cannot tell you.

The range we measured is 1,833–2,029 metres, a drop of 196 metres. The ski infrastructure is small: a 760-metre chairlift, a 430-metre ski tow and a 100-metre magic carpet. In return the resort hosted more than 500,000 visitors in a single season.

The reason for this contradiction is that Yedikuyular is not only a ski resort but Kahramanmaraş’s day-trip recreation area. Being 13 km from the city centre means that every weekend it snows, people pour up here.

Pistes and Who They’re For

Piste length and drop are limited; for an experienced skier the day fills up quickly. In return the scale is exactly enough for beginners, children and anyone coming for the pleasure of sledging.

Having no alternative in its region makes it indisputably the nearest option for someone living in the South-East.

Things to Know Before You Go

There is no MGM measuring station here.

That is why the snow depth field above says “no measurement” — we are not making it up, there genuinely is no station measuring. The temperature and wind values come from a weather model and are labelled as such.

The resort has its own live webcam.

Because there is no measurement, this is the most reliable way to see the snow situation; the link is above.

Weekends are very crowded.

Being close to the city and having no alternative in the region means crowds every weekend it snows. If you can go on a weekday the experience changes completely.

Frequently asked questions

About Yedikuyular

Is Yedikuyular enough for an experienced skier?
To speak plainly, no. With a 196-metre drop and short pistes the day starts repeating itself quickly. For beginners and families it is very suitable.
Why is there no snow depth?
This resort has no measuring station belonging to the Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM). Rather than writing an estimated figure we prefer to leave it blank; showing which resort has a real measurement matters to us.
So where do the temperature and wind come from?
Here they are calculated from a weather model and labelled “model” in the table. At resorts with a measuring station, check this label too: not every weather value is automatically a measurement. We state where each value comes from clearly on every page.
