Hello everyone! Yıldız Dağı is the only real skiing option in the region for Sivas and its surroundings. On this page I have gathered its conditions; the figures above are live, and below I share what the figures cannot tell you.

The range we measured is 1,749–2,322 metres, a drop of 573 metres. That is a good figure among mid-sized resorts — noticeably more than Kartalkaya’s drop (343 m).

Who It’s For

The 573-metre drop offers an intermediate skier a satisfying day. With no alternative in the region, it becomes the natural choice for someone living in the north-east of Central Anatolia.

When to Go

Sivas’s continental climate makes holding snow easier. The season generally stretches from December to March; January–February is the most stable period.
