Swimming season at Side

Side is an ancient town built on a small peninsula reaching into the sea, right next to Manavgat. The columns of the Temple of Apollo stand just by the shore, and on both sides of the peninsula there are fine-sand beaches stretching for kilometres. The sea deepens gradually along the beach.

When to go From May to October; the water is at its warmest in July and August, and it usually stays mild into October.
Who it suits With its sandy, gently sloping entry it's an easy choice for families with children, and it suits anyone who wants to combine a walk around the ancient town with a day at the sea.
