Hisarcık Gate

Hisarcık Gate is a popular place to learn to ski at Erciyes. A 2013 Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality council decision mentions cafés at Hisarcık Gate, showing that facilities were already established in the area by then. I could not find an official record giving the gate’s first opening date.

The main feature at Hisarcık Gate is the ski learning area run by Snow Academia. According to the school, beginners can take basic lessons from certified instructors. The official facilities table lists two magic carpets at Hisarcık, 130 and 50 metres long, as well as the Hisarcık T-Bar. These short lifts can be useful for first lessons and practice.

Food and drink options in the area include Quup Lounge Cafe, Morpho Effect Cafe Bistro Bakery and Kardanadam Cafe & Restaurant. Businesses offering equipment rental are also listed at Hisarcık Gate. Shuttle services between the gates on weekends and during the school mid-year break make it easier to reach other parts of the ski area.
