Membership Terms

1. Parties and subject

These terms govern the use of the optional Advenway account on advenway.com. The service is provided by Nusret Berk Mertoğlu, operating under the name Advenway («Advenway», «we»). The person who creates an account is referred to as the «member» or «you».

By creating an account you accept these terms. How your personal data is processed is explained separately in the Membership Privacy Notice.

2. The service

The account is free and optional. The tools, guides and race calendar on the site can be used without an account.
With an account you can save content (races, articles, dive sites and similar) and store your profile and notification preferences. When they become available, you can also record the races you will enter, your results and your activities.
We may change the scope of the service, add new features or remove some features. Before a change that affects the data you have saved, we will inform you and give you the opportunity to download your data.

3. Creating an account

An account is created with a valid email address and password, or with your Google account. An account created by email becomes active when the code sent to that address is verified. An unverified account is deleted automatically after 7 days.
One account per person is intended. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else or with someone else's email address.
If you are under 18, you must obtain your parent's or guardian's consent before creating an account.
Your display name does not have to be your real name, but you may not use a name that impersonates someone, is insulting or is misleading.

4. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your password secret and not using it elsewhere.
If you notice activity in your account that you do not recognise, change your password immediately and write to iletisim@advenway.com. You can temporarily lock your account with the link in the security email we send you.
To prevent unauthorised access, we may temporarily limit sign-in after repeated failed attempts.

5. Rules of use

When using your account, you agree: - not to enter false, misleading or someone else's race results; - not to overload the service with automated tools, attempt to bypass its security or try to access other members' accounts; - not to use the account for unlawful purposes.

6. Content you enter

The records you enter in your account (saved items, races, results, activities and notes) are not available to other members or the public. Authorised persons may access them when necessary and only for operating the service, its security and your support requests.
We keep these records only to provide the service to you. We do not publish, sell or use them for advertising.
Your rights in the notes, results and activity information you write yourself remain yours. The rights in articles, images and other site content you save belong to their owners; saving content does not give you any rights in it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

7. Site content and liability

Information such as race dates, registration details, courses, weather and sea conditions is compiled from organisers and public sources. We work to keep it accurate, but it can change. Always rely on the organiser's official announcement for definitive information.
Content about training, health or safety is general information and does not replace professional advice. Before taking part in an event you should assess your own health and safety.
The service is provided free of charge. We cannot guarantee that it will run without interruption or error. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Freezing and deleting your account

You can freeze your account at any time on the My Account page. Your data is kept and you can come back whenever you like.
You can request the deletion of your account at any time on the My Account page. The request is concluded within 30 days at the latest. You can withdraw it until permanent deletion starts. You can download all your data before deletion.
The limited records kept after deletion and their periods are explained in the privacy notice.

9. Suspension of the account

We may suspend your account in case of a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a security risk or a legal obligation. If you try to sign in with a suspended account, you will be shown that the account is suspended; you can find out the reason by writing to iletisim@advenway.com. Your right to download the data of a suspended account and to request its deletion continues.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we will publish the new version on this page and notify the email address registered in your account before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can request deletion of your account before the effective date.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are handled by the authorities competent under the law. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
