Swimming season at Sedef Adası (Adalar)

The smallest and quietest inhabited island of the Princes' Islands (roughly 1,300 by 1,100 meters). Its name comes from the way its vegetation resembles mother-of-pearl ("sedef") from a distance. It has two beaches and is known for the cleanliness of its sea; since three-quarters of the island is privately owned, the area accessible to the public is limited.
