Swimming season at Alaçatı Sörf Koyu

Alaçatı is considered Turkey's windsurfing capital and a globally recognized surf spot. The bay is shallow — water depth generally doesn't exceed 1.5 meters even 60-80 meters out from shore — and the wind blows at a steady strength almost every day between May and October. This combination makes it a rare spot suited to both beginners and professionals; it also hosts the annual PWA competitions.
