Swimming season at Adakule (Kuşadası)

Adakule Cave and the recesses around it form one of the region's most popular dive sites. The cave is narrow and no sunlight enters it — it requires a cave-diving discipline suited only to divers with advanced training. Inside, species such as yellow coral, slipper lobster, transparent shrimp, comber and conger eel can be found; around it are warm-water springs and historical remains such as stone anchors, ceramics and amphorae. Mediterranean monk seals are also reportedly spotted here from time to time in winter.

When to go June–October; seals may be spotted in the area during winter, when diving activity decreases.
Who it suits Only for advanced divers with cave-diving training — not suitable for beginners.
