Ekobid Running Team
EKOBİD Running Team 52 is one of the teams active in Ordu that treats running as part of a wider sports and active-living culture. The community operates under the Ecological Living Cycling Association. So what you find here is not only running but a wider structure interwoven with cycling, nature, environmental awareness and other sports.
When and where do they run?
Not limited to running and
cycling
EKOBİD's history includes long-distance cycling tours and projects focused on the environment and local production. In recent years they have taken part in races and other events on the running side under the name Running Team 52. You can see team members at races outside Ordu too; the official results of the 2026 public run in Trabzon include athletes competing for EKOBİD Running Team 52.
What is more, the association's sporting side is not limited to running and cycling. EKOBİD Dragon Boat Team came first among 44 teams at the dragon boat races held in Ordu. That variety sets the community apart from a run club that, in the classic sense, only holds weekly group runs.
