Runarchy RC is one of İstanbul's long-standing running communities, and its distinctive voice sets it apart from other groups at first glance. Moving with the motto “Focus on Run”, the team approaches running not through logging kilometres or posting race times but through technical development, motivation and a culture of moving together.

The community's regular meet-up takes place every Tuesday at 19:45. But Runarchy should not be thought of as a classic neighbourhood club running in one spot. The team says it uses more than 20 different routes across İstanbul and moves its training to different parts of the city from time to time. That offers the chance to experience different running routes rather than repeating the same programme over and over.
Pacers have an important place in Runarchy's structure too. The aim is not only to set the group's pace but to help runners develop technically and progress in line with their own capacity. On the racing side, taking part in events at home and abroad together with team members is an important part of the community.
In Runarchy's own account, “togetherness” stands out in particular. Keeping newcomers going, keeping experienced runners motivated and living the race process together form the basis of the community culture.
