Running
Clan Running is one of the groups that stands out for the community runs it holds on İstanbul's Anatolian side. At the meet-ups they hold around Maltepe in particular, they prefer a freer structure rather than leaving the run to athletes at one particular pace.
When and where do they run?
Not a run left to a single
pace
Their events make room for runs where participants can set their own pace. That makes it easier for runners of different levels to train together at the same meet-up. The Maltepe Kenan Onuk Athletics Track and its surroundings are among the training spots they use. There they hold runs not only on the track but on the dirt areas nearby as well.
Clan Running's programme also includes joint runs with other communities. The event they held with “Bir Adım Daha” is one example. Meet-ups like these bring different running groups together in the same session.
Current runs and special events are announced on Luma, while you can also follow the community's programme and past meet-ups on their Instagram account.
Participants set their own pace; different levels can run at the same meet-up.
