A Magdeburg-class light cruiser of the Imperial German Navy; in August 1914 she passed to the Ottoman Navy and was renamed Midilli. On 20 January 1918, during the Battle of Imbros, in an operation she sailed on together with Yavuz, she struck five mines and sank. The wreck was identified in 1993; she lies at about 76 metres on a sandy bottom, within technical diving depths.
