An Airbus A300 passenger aircraft sunk as an artificial reef off Kuşadası. Because it was the first aircraft sunk at this scale, it was announced as the largest artificial reef in Turkey and in Europe.
Underwater cultural assets are covered by Turkish Law no. 2863. Diving at these sites is done only through authorized dive centers and in line with the published rules.
