A 45-ton, 1960-model US-built M48 tank that Antalya Valiliği obtained from the Turkish Armed Forces. In May 2017 it was lowered for dive tourism, first into shallow water in the harbour and then at the Güvercin Island site. Sources give the depth as 15-20 metres.
Underwater cultural assets are covered by Turkish Law no. 2863. Diving at these sites is done only through authorized dive centers and in line with the published rules.
Distances are in a straight line and some coordinates are approximate; the route by boat is longer. Rows marked “Same area” are tied to the same anchor point in our records; we don’t know the real distance between them.
The TSSF-registered centres closest to this site (within 60 km or in the same province). Distance is a straight line to the centre’s registered address; it does not mean the centre runs dives to this site, so ask the centre. All authorised centres →
